Clare Foster is a British actress and singer born on July 24, 1980, in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. She is renowned for her extensive work in musical theatre, television, and film, with a career spanning over two decades. Foster's stage credits include notable productions such as Travesties, Consent, Merrily We Roll Along, Crazy for You, Avenue Q, and Best of Enemies. She received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Travesties at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Apollo Theatre. Additionally, she was nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Crazy for You at the Novello Theatre. In 2024, she starred as Elowen Keene in the West End production of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at the Ambassadors Theatre. The production won Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards 2025.
