Upon returning to Mexico, she continued her drama training at institutions like the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Núcleo de Estudios Teatrales, launching her professional career in 1989.Maillé achieved early critical acclaim for her work in Mexican cinema, including two notable Ariel Awards (Mexico's equivalent of the Academy Awards).
