Cole Sprouse
Cole Mitchell Sprouse is an American actor and professional photographer, born on August 4, 1992, in Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, 15 minutes after his identical twin brother, Dylan Sprouse. The twins began acting at just eight months old following a suggestion from their grandmother, a drama teacher. As child actors, they frequently shared roles to comply with child labor laws, first gaining attention in the sitcom Grace Under Fire (1993–1998) and later starring together in the Adam Sandler film Big Daddy (1999). Cole's first major solo role was as Ben Geller, Ross Geller's son, in the popular sitcom Friends (2000–2002). Cole and Dylan achieved global fame in their teenage years on the Disney Channel as Cody Martin and Zack Martin, respectively, in the hit series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005–2008) and its spin-off, The Suite Life on Deck (2008–2011). Following the end of the Disney franchise, Cole took a hiatus from acting to attend New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where he graduated in 2015 with a degree in Geographic Information Systems and Archaeology, even participating in archaeological digs in Europe and Asia. He made a massive return to acting in 2017, taking on a dramatically different, darker role as the philosophical outcast and narrator Forsythe "Jughead" Jones III in The CW's hit teen drama Riverdale (2017–2023), based on the Archie Comics characters. Parallel to this, his prominent film work includes starring as a cystic fibrosis patient in the romantic drama Five Feet Apart (2019) and most recently as The Creature in the 2024 horror-comedy Lisa Frankenstein. Beyond acting, Sprouse is an established professional fashion and travel photographer, contributing to publications like Teen Vogue and L'Uomo Vogue, and he is also set to appear in the 2024 film I Wish You All the Best.
