Corine du Toit is a South African actress and writer, renowned for her roles in both television and film. Born in Bloemfontein, she began her career as a model at the age of 15, working internationally in countries such as Italy, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Her modeling work led to appearances in numerous TV commercials, which sparked her interest in acting. After receiving voice training in Cape Town, she transitioned into acting, landing a role in the popular South African soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold as Jane Edwards, a character who underwent a dramatic transformation following reconstructive surgery. Following her success in Egoli, du Toit continued to build her acting career with notable roles in films such as Semi-Soet (2012), Night Drive (2010), and Florida Road (2010). She also appeared in the television series Getroud met Rugby (2009) and Projek Dina (2023).
