Cricket Brown

Cricket Brown is an American actress born in 1997. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts drama program in 2019, building a strong foundation in both stage and screen performance. She is known for her work in the horror and television genres. Her most prominent role to date is her feature film debut as Alice Pagett in the 2021 supernatural horror film The Unholy, which was produced by Sam Raimi. In the film, Alice is a young deaf-mute girl who, after a supposed visitation from the Virgin Mary, is miraculously able to hear, speak, and heal the sick, becoming the center of the town's religious fervor. Brown's portrayal of the physically transforming character was a challenging role, requiring her to study American Sign Language (ASL) for the initial scenes. In television, Brown is credited for her role in the 2022 series WeCrashed and is slated to appear in the upcoming series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy (2025). Her other film credits include Dukeland and Polaroid. Prior to her film work, she performed in stage productions, including the Off-Broadway production of Judgment Day in 2019.
