Cynthia Addai-Robinson is an English-born American actress who has garnered recognition for her compelling performances in both television and film. Born on January 12, 1985, in London, her mother is from Ghana, and her father is a U.S. citizen. She moved to the United States at the age of four and was raised in a suburb of Washington, D.C. Addai-Robinson graduated from Montgomery Blair High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and in various dance forms.Her career began with guest appearances in several television series, including CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Entourage. She gained significant attention for her role as Naevia in the Starz series Spartacus, appearing in both Spartacus: Vengeance and Spartacus: War of the Damned. Other notable television roles include her portrayal of Amanda Waller in the CW's Arrow, Nadine Memphis in USA Network's Shooter, and her current role as Queen Regent Míriel in Amazon Prime's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. In film, she is known for playing Marybeth Medina in The Accountant (2016) and will reprise the role in the upcoming The Accountant 2 (2025).
