Dan Fogler, born Daniel Kevin Fogler on October 20, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York, is a dynamic American actor, comedian, and writer who made a significant splash in his Broadway debut. He won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical in 2005 for his memorable portrayal of William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Fogler's early television appearances include impersonating Al Pacino on Fox's 30 Seconds to Fame in 2002. He has since built a diverse career across film and television, with notable roles such as Randy Daytona in Balls of Fury, Stu in Good Luck Chuck, and Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts film series. His voice acting credits include Kung Fu Panda, Horton Hears a Who!, and Mars Needs Moms. In television, he has had recurring roles in The Goldbergs, Hannibal, The Good Wife, and currently plays Luke in The Walking Dead. In 2025, he appeared as the Apothecary in Juliet & Romeo. Beyond acting, Fogler is also a comic book writer, having penned the horror anthology Moon Lake. He is married to Jodie Capes since 2009.
