Dane DiLiegro is an American actor and former professional basketball player, born on August 6, 1988, in Lexington, Massachusetts. Standing at 6'9", his imposing stature and athletic background proved to be a unique asset in his transition to acting, particularly in roles requiring a physical presence. Before his acting career, DiLiegro played professional basketball for eight seasons in Italy and Israel, after a standout college career at the University of New Hampshire where he became the second all-time leading rebounder in the program's history.After his basketball career, he initially considered following in his family's footsteps as a butcher, even apprenticing under renowned Tuscan butcher Dario Cecchini. However, a serendipitous call to be a stand-in for the film "Free Guy" sparked his interest in acting.
