He comes from a family with a background in the entertainment industry, as his mother, Tessa Shaw, was an actress, and his father, George Fathers, was a scenic designer for the West End. Daniel moved to Saskatchewan, Canada, in his teens and later received training at the Central School of Dance and Royal Academy of Arts in London, as well as the Professional Actors Lab in Toronto, Canada.Fathers has built a prolific career in both film and television, often recognized for his roles in Disney's "Camp Rock" movies (2008, 2010), where he played the affable Brown Cessario, an old-time rock 'n' roller and the Jonas Brothers' uncle. Other notable film appearances include "A Christmas Prince" (2017), "The Void" (2016), "Project Ithaca" (2019), and "Mute" (2018). His television credits are extensive and diverse, encompassing roles such as Osfar in "The Witcher: Blood Origin" (2022), Fernando in "Atlanta" (2016-2022), and Clarence Perry in the second season of "Snatch" (2018).
