Daniel Stisen

Daniel Stisen is a Norwegian actor, film producer, and former bodybuilder and powerlifter, born on September 25, 1982, in Mandal, southern Norway. His formidable physique, which earned him the nickname "The Body," stems from a passion for bodybuilding inspired by his father, who ran his own gym; Stisen first competed in powerlifting at age 16 and later became the Norwegian junior and senior bodybuilding champion. After a bodybuilding injury, he transitioned his focus to acting and stunts, moving to London to train at the British Action Academy and later studying acting at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles. Stisen has built a career in the Anglo-American studio film industry, often appearing in minor or uncredited roles in major blockbusters like Maleficent (2014), Edge of Tomorrow (2014), Spectre (2015), Justice League (2017), and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018). He has since stepped into leading roles, starring, writing, and producing the 2021 action film Last Man Down and the 2023 actioner The Siege, and most recently starring as Jack Johnson in the 2025 revenge thriller "Stand Your Ground." Stisen is known for throwback, hard-hitting action and is frequently compared to '80s action icons like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
