Daniel Zillmann is a versatile German actor, voice actor, and singer, born on January 18, 1981, in Berlin, Germany. He is renowned for his ability to seamlessly navigate between dramatic and comedic roles in film, television, and theatre. Zillmann received his acting training at the Special Coaching Actors Studio in Berlin and made his cinema debut in 2005 in NVA. His varied screen career includes roles in Michael Bully Herbig's series Buddy, the film Zettl by Helmut Dietl, and more recently, the Amazon Prime series Luden (2023), where he impressed critics with his performance as the drag queen Tanja, and the mockumentary series Andere Eltern (Other Parents). Zillmann is also a prominent figure in German theatre, having been a part of the ensemble at the respected Volksbühne Berlin where he worked with acclaimed director Frank Castorf.
