Daniela Melchior is a Portuguese actress born on November 1, 1996, in Almada, Portugal. She began her career in 2014 with a recurring role in the telenovela Mulheres, followed by the teen drama Massa Fresca and a breakthrough leading role in the award-winning telenovela Ouro Verde (2017). She also provided the Portuguese voice for Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018).Melchior achieved international recognition with her English-language debut as Cleo Cazo/Ratcatcher 2 in James Gunn's DC Extended Universe film, The Suicide Squad (2021). Her performance was widely praised by critics and earned her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Portuguese Golden Globes. She subsequently took on roles in several major Hollywood films, including Marlowe (2022), Fast X (2023) as Isabel, and reuniting with James Gunn for a role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). She is the first Portuguese actress to appear in an MCU film. Her other projects include Road House (2024), Assassin Club (2023), and the upcoming films Balls Up, American Sweatshop, and Anaconda.
