Danish Pandor

Born on December 22, 1987, in Mumbai, Danish Pandor is an Indian actor and former model who has recently transitioned from a steady career in television and OTT to becoming a breakout star in mainstream Hindi cinema. He began his journey in the fashion world, achieving significant early success as a top-five finalist in the 2007 Gladrags Manhunt contest. After honing his craft at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute, Pandor built a solid foundation in television with roles in popular series such as Kitni Mohabbat Hai, Agent Raghav, and Ishqbaaz. His move into the digital space further showcased his range, notably as the character Bada Badariya in the hit Netflix series Sacred Games (2018), as well as roles in Matsya Kaand and Bombers. In 2025, he expanded his cinematic portfolio with a supporting role as Ikhlaas Khan in the historical epic Chhaava. Pandor’s career reached a new height in December 2025 with his widely acclaimed performance in Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar. Portraying the real-life Karachi mobster Uzair Baloch, Pandor delivered a restrained and unsettling performance as the calm, methodical right-hand man and cousin to the antagonist Rehman Dakait (played by Akshaye Khanna). His chemistry with lead actor Ranveer Singh—who plays the undercover agent Hamza—became a talking point for fans, particularly for a viral dance sequence and the psychological "cat-and-mouse" dynamic between their characters. Despite the film's intense violence and political controversy, Pandor’s portrayal was hailed by critics as a "surprise standout" that brought a chilling realism to the Lyari underworld setting. He is officially confirmed to reprise his role in the sequel, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which is set for a massive pan-India release on March 19, 2026.
