Born on June 14, 1992, in Torrance, California, Daryl Sabara is an American actor who gained worldwide fame as a child star before evolving into a prominent voice actor and television personality. He is best known for his iconic role as Juni Cortez in Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids film franchise (2001–2011), a role he secured at just eight years old. Sabara, who is a trained ballet dancer and the fraternal twin of actor Evan Sabara, parlayed his early success into a prolific career in both live-action and animation. Beyond the Spy Kids series, he delivered a critically acclaimed performance as the socially awkward Kyle in the dark comedy World's Greatest Dad (2009) and appeared in major productions like John Carter (2012) and the "found footage" horror film After the Dark (2013). In the horror genre, Sabara is noted for his role in Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno (2013), where he played Lars, a cynical and often drug-addled member of the activist group. Unlike many of his peers in the film who met more violent ends, Lars’s story concluded in a particularly grim and hallucinogenic fashion within the cannibal village. Aside from live-action, Sabara has built an extensive resume in voice acting, most notably as the title character in the hit animated series Generator Rex and various roles in the Ben 10 reboot. He has also voiced characters in major animated features such as The Polar Express (2004) and A Christmas Carol (2009). On a personal level, Sabara’s life has been a major focus of public interest due to his high-profile marriage to Grammy-winning singer Meghan Trainor, whom he wed in December 2018. The couple has been very open about their journey through parenthood, often sharing updates with their millions of followers. As of January 2026, Sabara and Trainor are now a family of five; they welcomed their third child and first daughter, Mikey Moon Trainor, via surrogate on January 18, 2026. She joins their two older sons, Riley (born 2021) and Barry (born 2023).
