Dash Mihok

Dashiell "Dash" Raymond Mihok (born May 24, 1974) is an American actor and director best known for his long-running and critically praised role as Brendan "Bunchy" Donovan in the Showtime drama series Ray Donovan (2013-2020), a complex character dealing with the trauma of childhood abuse. Born in New York City to a family of theater actors, Mihok began his career with guest spots on TV shows like Law & Order and achieved early recognition for his role as Benvolio in Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. His filmography is extensive, featuring memorable roles in major ensemble films such as Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line (1998), The Perfect Storm (2000), The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005), I Am Legend (2007), and David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook (2012). Mihok is also a director, having helmed episodes of Ray Donovan and several short films, and he is a spokesperson for the Jaylens Challenges Foundation, as he has lived with Tourette Syndrome since childhood.
