Daria Dmitrievna "Dasha" Nekrasova, born on February 19, 1991, in Minsk, Belarus (then the Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union), is a Belarusian-American actress, filmmaker, and prominent podcaster. She emigrated to the United States with her acrobat parents at the age of four, settling in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nekrasova later studied sociology and philosophy at Mills College. She first gained internet notoriety as "Sailor Socialism" after a viral interview with an InfoWars reporter in 2018.Nekrasova is perhaps best known as the co-host of the popular cultural commentary podcast "Red Scare" with Anna Khachiyan, which offers a satirical and often controversial take on politics and culture. As an actress, she has appeared in films such as "Wobble Palace" (which she co-wrote), "The Ghost Who Walks," "Bad Behaviour," and "The Beast." She gained significant recognition for her recurring role as Comfrey Pellits, Kendall Roy's crisis PR representative, in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Succession."
