David Scott "Dave" Foley (born January 4, 1963, in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada) is a renowned Canadian actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer, widely recognized for his unique comedic sensibilities and versatile performances. Foley's career began when he dropped out of high school to pursue stand-up comedy, eventually leading him to improv classes where he met Kevin McDonald. Together, they formed a comedy team that eventually merged with another, leading to the creation of the iconic sketch comedy troupe "The Kids in the Hall" in 1984.
