David Tennant (born David John McDonald; April 18, 1971) is a Scottish actor widely regarded for his extensive and versatile work in film, television, and theatre. He is most famous for his role as the Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors in the iconic British science fiction series Doctor Who, a role he first took on in 2005 and reprised for the show's 50th and 60th-anniversary specials.Beyond the TARDIS, Tennant has built a distinguished career with a string of critically acclaimed performances.
