Deepraj Rana
Deepraj Rana is an experienced Indian actor from Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), known for his work in films, television, and theatre since the early 1990s. He started his career with popular TV shows like Udaan, Chandrakanta, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Na Aana Is Des Laado, and Left Right Left, earning praise for his versatile and strong character roles. In films, he gained recognition with performances in Saathiya, Mangal Pandey: The Rising (where he played Tatya Tope), Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, Bullett Raja, Gunday, Singham Returns, and Special 26, among others.Apart from acting, Deepraj is passionate about theatre and writing. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he wrote stories inspired by real-life events, including one about a woman performing last rites in Prayagraj. He also produced a musical play on the Kumbh Mela festival. He owns a production company called Phaphamau Castle Films and has contributed to stage performances at the Maha Kumbh.Deepraj studied theatre arts at DAV College in Chandigarh and was part of the renowned theatre group Ekjut in Mumbai. He is married to TV actress Natasha Rana and currently lives in Mumbai. After more than three decades in the industry, he continues to seek powerful and impactful roles, balancing work across cinema, web series, and stage with dedication and passion.
