Deniz Cengiz is a Turkish actress and comedian, born on August 4, 1989, in Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated from Istanbul Kültür University's Acting Department and furthered her education with a master's degree in New Media at Yeditepe University.Cengiz initially gained widespread recognition for the comedic sketches she shared on YouTube and Instagram, which garnered a large following and caught the attention of prominent figures in the Turkish entertainment industry. This led to her breakthrough role in the popular TV series "Jet Sosyete," written by renowned comedian Gülse Birsel. She also worked as a humor writer for "Beyaz Show" from 2017 to 2018.Her film career includes roles in "Görümce" (2016), "Deliha 2" (2018), and more recently, "Another You" (Başka Bir Sen) (2025), where she played the character Elif. On television, she has appeared in series such as "The Perfect Tenant" (2022), "One Of Us" (2021), "Immaculate" (2024), and "Anonim" (2024). In addition to her acting, Deniz Cengiz made her directorial and writing debut with the short film "Kaçanlar" (Escapism) in 2024, which was a finalist at the 31st Adana Altın Koza Film Festival and earned her a Best Acting award at the 3rd Kaş Film Festival.
