Deoudoné van der Merwe, also known as Deoudoné Pretorius, is a South African actress born on February 12, 1997. She studied Drama and completed three years of training in Musical Theatre & Dance, gaining skills in various dance styles and physical performance techniques. Her professional acting career began in 2020, with a notable role as Stella in kykNET's 21st birthday campaign. She became a familiar face through several kykNET commercial campaigns, including "Stella Kom Kuier," "Stella Stemme," and "'n Ster vir Kersfees," along with voice-over work. Deoudoné has appeared in Afrikaans television productions such as "Getroud Met Rugby," "Binnelanders," "Diepe Waters," and has hosted the kykNET game show "Koppestamp." Her film credits include Showmax productions "Horisonne" and "Troukoors," as well as the lead role in the Forum Films movie "Die Val." She has also worked on projects in English and internationally, including Disney South Africa productions, two Tubi films ("Invasive 2: Getaway" and "Take-Out"), and the Norwegian feature film "Den Fremmede" directed by Eiric Svensson.
