Devon Bostick is a Canadian actor born on November 13, 1991, in Toronto, Ontario. He comes from a family involved in the entertainment industry, with his mother, Stephanie Gorin, working as a casting director, and his father, Joe Bostick, as an actor and film fight coordinator. He also has a younger brother, Jesse Bostick. Devon began acting in the fifth grade and is a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto.Bostick is widely recognized for his main role as Rodrick Heffley in the first three Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series (2010–2012). His career includes a variety of roles in both film and television, ranging from comedies to dramas and horror. Other significant film roles include Simon in Adoration (2008), Brent in Saw VI (2009), Silver in Okja (2017), and Seth Neddermeyer in Oppenheimer (2023). He also appeared in the 2025 "screenlife" film War of the Worlds.On television, Bostick had a main role as Jasper Jordan on The CW's science fiction series The 100 (2014–2017). He has also had recurring roles as Leo Strange in the CBC series Being Erica (2009–2011), Green on the Quibi series Most Dangerous Game (2020), and Oscar on the Netflix series FUBAR (2023). His early career included appearances in Degrassi: The Next Generation, Flashpoint, and Rookie Blue. He has received Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Young Ensemble Cast for his work in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films.
