DeVon Franklin is a highly accomplished American film producer, author, motivational speaker, and former studio executive, known for blending his Christian faith with his career in entertainment. Born on April 13, 1978, in Oakland, California, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, along with a minor in Cinema-Television. His career began with an internship at Overbrook Entertainment, working for Will Smith, and he quickly rose through the ranks in Hollywood, eventually becoming the Senior Vice President of Columbia Pictures, making him one of the youngest and highest-ranking African-American executives in studio history.
