Diana Bovio, born on March 12, 1989, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is a well-regarded Mexican actress known for her performances in contemporary Mexican cinema. She began her acting journey on stage, participating in productions like "Los Bonobos," "Verdad o reto," and "Forever Young, Never Alone." Her first leading role in film came in 2016 with the Mexican horror movie "1974: La posesión de Altair," an independent film that garnered critical acclaim and won awards at international festivals. For her role in "Hasta que la boda nos separe" (2018), Bovio received nominations for Best Actress at the Canacine Awards and at the Fantaspoa International Film Festival for Best Actress in an Ibero-American film. In 2023, she won a Silver Goddess Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in "Lecciones para canallas." Bovio is also the younger sister of Marcela Bovio, the vocalist of the band Stream of Passion, and has occasionally joined her on stage.
