Diana Penty is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films, born on November 2, 1985, in Mumbai to a Parsi father and a Konkani Christian mother. After graduating with a degree in Mass Media from St. Xavier's College, she began her professional career as a model in 2005 after signing with Elite Models India. She quickly established a successful career in modeling, working with top designers and endorsing prominent brands. Penty made her critically acclaimed acting debut in the romantic comedy film Cocktail (2012), for which she received a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination. Following a four-year hiatus, she starred in the successful comedy film Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016), and its sequel, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi (2018). Her filmography also includes roles in Lucknow Central (2017), Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018), Shiddat (2021), and the streaming film Bloody Daddy (2023), in addition to her Malayalam film debut in Salute (2022).
