He began his career in Mexico, appearing in popular telenovelas like "Rebelde" and reality singing competitions such as "Código F.A.M.A." He transitioned to Hollywood with roles in TV shows like "Pretty Little Liars" and "90210."Boneta gained significant international recognition for his starring role as Drew Boley in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical "Rock of Ages" (2012), where he showcased both his acting and singing talents alongside stars like Tom Cruise.
