Dilara Aylin Ziem is a German actress born in Berlin in 2002. She discovered her passion for acting at a young age, with a visit to the movie "Fünf Freunde" (Famous Five) reportedly inspiring her to pursue a career in the field. She convinced her mother to find her an agency for young actors, and has since built a growing filmography.Ziem is particularly known for her roles in films directed by Karoline Herfurth, including "Wunderschön" (2022) and its sequel "Wunderschöner" (2025), where she portrays the character of Leyla. Her work in "Wunderschön" was her first major role, addressing themes of body image and equality. She has also appeared in the television series "Hübsches Gesicht," for which she was nominated as "best up-and-coming actress" at the New Faces Award in 2023. Other credits include "Weihnachtspäckchen … haben alle zu tragen" (2023) and an episode of "Großstadtrevier." Dilara Aylin Ziem is bilingual in German and Turkish, and also fluent in English.
