Diogo Santos de Almeida (born December 6, 1984, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a versatile Brazilian actor and psychologist who began modeling and acting at age 11, later earning degrees in Performing Arts (from CAL) and Psychology. He made his TV debut in the 2007 Globo telenovela Duas Caras, and has since appeared in Promessas de Amor (Record, 2009), Jezabel (2019), Brasil Imperial (2020), and starred as Orlando in the 2023 Globo novela Amor Perfeito, earning a BreakTudo nomination and an Ubuntu Award as a cultural revelation. On the big screen, he played roles in A Frente Fria que a Chuva Traz, Escola das Artes – O Filme, the Argentinian-Brazilian Errante Corazón, and most recently in Missão Porto Seguro. In psychology, he has provided therapy to children on the autism spectrum and women affected by domestic violence, authored the children’s book Com Afeto, Kayin inspired by his patients, and plans to launch "Casa Diogo Almeida"—a mental health space for neurodiverse families . In January 2025, he and his mother Vilma joined Big Brother Brasil 25 as a "Camarote" duo, with Diogo lasting 44 days before his elimination on February 25 . Committed to both his artistic and therapeutic vocations, he continues acting, creating mental-health initiatives, and building his visibility as an influencer and communicator.
