He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), graduating in 2000.Cooper has a diverse career spanning film, television, and theatre. He first gained significant recognition for his role as Dakin in the stage play The History Boys, a role he reprised in the 2006 film adaptation.
