Donald Frank Cheadle Jr. (born November 29, 1964) is an American actor, director, producer, and writer renowned for his intense, versatile, and often understated performances across film and television. Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Cheadle developed an early passion for acting and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts in 1986.
