Donald Anthony "Cowboy" Cerrone is a retired American professional mixed martial artist, kickboxer, and actor. Born on March 29, 1983, in Denver, Colorado, he was a well-known figure in the UFC and WEC. He began his competitive career as a professional bull rider before transitioning to kickboxing and Muay Thai. He turned professional in mixed martial arts in 2006.Cerrone is known for his extensive and record-setting career, which includes multiple UFC records. He is tied for second in the number of wins in UFC history with 23 and holds the record for most wins in Zuffa, LLC history with 29. He is also third in UFC history for most finishes (16) and third for most total fights (38). Additionally, Cerrone is second in UFC history for most post-fight bonuses with 18.
