Donna Murphy (born March 7, 1959, in New York City) is an acclaimed American actress and singer celebrated for her powerful voice and commanding stage presence. A two-time Tony Award winner, she earned Best Actress in a Musical honors for her roles as Fosca in Passion (1994) and Anna Leonowens in The King and I (1996–1997).
