Dralla Aierken is a Uyghur-born Chinese writer and actress based in Los Angeles. She has a deep connection to stories of the alienated and the voiceless, which she explores through her work. Aierken's writing often delves into serious topics such as grief, power, and injustice, but she strives to do so with humor and compassion. Her crime show pilot, The Blue Hour, was a finalist in the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay competition. She has also been a mentee in Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab. As an actress, she is known for her roles in films like Bad Detectives and the 2025 film Preparation for the Next Life, as well as television series such as American Born Chinese and For the People.
