Drew Powell, born Andrew Powell on January 19, 1976, in Noblesville, Indiana, is a versatile American actor known for his compelling performances in both television and film. Growing up in Lebanon, Indiana, he graduated from Lebanon Senior High School before pursuing higher education at DePauw University, where he graduated in 1998. Shortly after graduation, Powell moved to Los Angeles to embark on his acting career.Powell gained early recognition for his recurring role as Cadet Drew in the popular Fox series "Malcolm in the Middle" (2000-2001). This was followed by his portrayal of Hoss Cartwright in "Ponderosa" (2001-2002), a prequel to the classic series "Bonanza." However, he is perhaps most widely recognized for his role as Butch Gilzean/Cyrus Gold/Solomon Grundy in the Fox series "Gotham" (2014-2019), where he was a series regular.Throughout his career, Drew Powell has amassed an extensive list of credits, showcasing his range and talent.
