E.J. Bonilla, born Edward Joshua Bonilla on September 8, 1988, in Brooklyn, New York, is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent. He discovered his passion for acting in high school, playing the role of Danny Zuko in a production of Grease. After graduating, he attended Bard College and soon began his professional acting career.Bonilla gained early recognition for his role as Rafe Rivera on the soap opera Guiding Light, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in 2009. He has appeared in several films, including Musical Chairs (2012), Four (2013)—for which he received an Imagen Award nomination—and Don't Let Me Drown (2009).On television, he has guest-starred in shows like Revenge and Unforgettable and played CIA agent Raymond Waters in the FX series The Old Man from 2022 to 2024. Bonilla is known for his versatile performances and continues to build a strong career in both film and TV.
