Edmund "Eddie" Patrick Cahill, born on January 15, 1978, in the Bronx, New York, is an American actor with a career spanning over two decades in television, film, and theater. He is of Irish and Italian descent. Cahill studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Acting School, part of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He first gained widespread attention with a recurring role as Tag Jones, Rachel Green's charming assistant, in the hit sitcom "Friends" (2000-2001). His career took a significant turn when he landed the role of Detective Don Flack in the long-running CBS procedural "CSI: NY," where he was a main cast member from 2004 until the show's conclusion in 2013. On the big screen, Cahill is well-known for portraying "Miracle on Ice" goalie Jim Craig in the inspiring 2004 film "Miracle."
