He is well-known for his extensive career in both film and television, often taking on supporting or "everyman" roles.Cheung began his acting career in 1982 with the series "Soldier of Fortune." Over the decades, he has built a diverse filmography, showcasing his versatility in various genres, from crime thrillers and action films to dramas and even comedic roles. He is particularly recognized for his work in Hong Kong crime cinema.Some of his notable film credits include "Election" (2005), "Mad Detective" (2007), "Exiled" (2006), "Drug War" (2012), "Guilt by Design" (2019), and the recent "Sakra" (2023).
