Edward Maurice Charles "Eddie" Marsan (born June 9, 1968) is a highly respected and prolific English actor, renowned for his versatility and the intensity he brings to a wide array of roles across film, television, and theatre. Hailing from a working-class background in Stepney, East London, Marsan initially pursued an apprenticeship as a printer before his passion for acting led him to train at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and later at the Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts.Marsan is particularly known for his ability to portray complex, often troubled, and frequently working-class characters, excelling in both independent films and major blockbusters.
