Edmund Kingsley is a British actor known for his work in film, television, and theatre. Born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England, on July 5, 1982, he comes from a theatrical family; his father is the Academy Award-winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley, and his mother is theatre director Alison Sutcliffe. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and has since worked extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).Kingsley's film career includes roles in the Martin Scorsese film Hugo (2011), the sci-fi drama Capsule (2015), and the action film Dirty Angels (2024), where he played Dr. Mike. On television, he has appeared in several popular series, including Slow Horses, Anatomy of a Scandal, and an episode of 3 Body Problem. He is also known for his voice work, having voiced the character of Young Freddie in the animated film Freddie as F.R.O.7. (1992).
