Elena Kong Mei‑yee (江美儀), born 20 September 1971 in British Hong Kong, is a versatile and acclaimed Hong Kong actress, radio DJ, and television host . She began her career in the entertainment industry during the 1990s as a model and appeared in numerous TV commercials, as well as in music videos featuring stars like Andy Lau and Leon Lai. In 1997, Elena joined ATV, landing her first lead role in the TV drama Forrest Cat. After more than a decade, she transitioned to TVB in 2009, where her performance as Angela Auntie in Beauty Knows No Pain (2010) earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination. She continued to rise, winning the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 2013 TVB Anniversary Awards for her role as Heather Fong in Triumph in the Skies II. In a career milestone, Elena won the Best Actress award at the 2022 TVB Anniversary Awards for her poignant portrayal in Get on a Flat, becoming one of the few former ATV actors to win TVB's top acting honor. Known for embracing challenging and occasionally risqué roles, she earned the nickname “Black Stockings Yee” . Outside of acting, she has also worked as a radio DJ for Digital Broadcasting Corporation Hong Kong (DBC).
