Elise Larnicol

Élise Larnicol is a French actress and writer, born on April 11, 1968, in Cenon, Gironde. She trained at the Toulouse Conservatory from 1985 to 1988 before refining her skills at the Cours Florent drama school until 1991. In 1996, she co-founded the comedy troupe Les Robins des Bois with fellow actors Pierre-François Martin-Laval, Jean-Paul Rouve, Marina Foïs, Maurice Barthélemy, and Pascal Vincent. The troupe gained popularity through their television appearances on La Grosse Émission and Nulle part ailleurs on Canal+. Larnicol's film career includes roles in comedies such as RRRrrrr!!! (2004), Casablanca Driver (2004), Essaye-moi (2006), 15 ans et demi (2008), Lolo (2015), and Taxi 5 (2018). She also appeared in the TV series Commissariat Central (2016) and Sam (2019–present), portraying characters like Jocelyne Perrin and Josie, respectively . In 2024, Larnicol starred in the short film Au fond du trou, directed by Lauren Ransan and Abel Vaccaro. The film, which addresses the historical issue of the "Children of the Creuse," was selected for Canal+'s "Le bonheur est dans l'après" initiative and is scheduled for television release. Beyond acting, Larnicol has contributed to the cinematic community as the president of the 13th Brussels Mediterranean Film Festival in 2013 .
