Ema Horvath

Ema Horvath (born January 28, 1994) is an American actress of Slovak descent who began acting as a child—appearing as a tulip at age five—and later pursued formal training at the Interlochen Center for the Arts before earning a B.A. in English literature from Harvard University in 2016. She made her screen debut in the Blumhouse horror film Like.Share.Follow. (2017), then went on to headline The Gallows Act II and appear in The Mortuary Collection (both 2019), followed by What Lies Below in 2020. On television, she starred in Quibi’s sci‑fi series Don’t Look Deeper (2020), and since 2022 has portrayed Eärien—Isildur’s sister—in Amazon Prime’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, a character not found in Tolkien’s original works. In 2024 she joined The Strangers reboot as Shelly and will return in Chapter 2, further cementing her place in both horror and fantasy genres.
