Emma Corrin

Emma-Louise Corrin (born December 13, 1995) is an English actor who achieved global recognition for their award-winning portrayal of Diana, Princess of Wales, in the fourth season of the Netflix historical drama series, The Crown (2020). After studying Education, English, Drama, and the Arts at St John's College, Cambridge, Corrin's early work included a recurring role in the Epix series Pennyworth (2019) and a feature film debut in Misbehaviour (2020). Their compelling performance as a young Diana, charting her turbulent entry into the Royal Family, earned them a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Corrin has since established themselves as a versatile performer in high-profile projects across stage and screen, starring in the romantic dramas My Policeman and Lady Chatterley's Lover (both 2022), the thriller miniseries A Murder at the End of the World (2023), and making their highly-anticipated entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the antagonist Cassandra Nova in the 2024 film Deadpool & Wolverine. On the stage, they received an Olivier Award nomination for their West End debut in Anna X and earned acclaim for the title role in the adaptation of Virginia Woolf's Orlando. Corrin, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, is celebrated for their bold, androgynous fashion and continues to take on challenging roles, including the upcoming period film 100 Nights of Hero (2025).
