Erica Cerra is a Canadian actress who was born on October 31, 1979, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She began acting at an early age, first appearing in the Canadian show KidZone and numerous commercials, though she took a break during her teenage years before resuming her career in her early twenties. She is most famous for her starring role as Deputy Jo Lupo in the Syfy series Eureka, which ran from 2006 to 2012. Following this, she took on a major recurring role in the CW series The 100 (2015–2020), where she played the artificial intelligence A.L.I.E. and its creator, Dr. Becca Franco. Cerra's extensive filmography includes appearances in genre series like Battlestar Galactica, Smallville, The 4400, and Supernatural (as Duma), as well as films such as Blade: Trinity (2004) and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), where she played Hera. More recently, she has done voice work as Susan Heffley in the animated Disney+ movies of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series (including Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021) and Rodrick Rules (2022)), and has appeared in Hallmark Mystery movies, such as Mystery on Mistletoe Lane (2023). She married Raffaele Fiore in 2010, and they have one child, a daughter born in May 2012.
