Ernesto Alterio
Ernesto Alterio (born Ernesto Federico Alterio Bacaicoa on September 25, 1970) is an Argentine-born Spanish actor. He is the son of the renowned actor Héctor Alterio and the brother of actress Malena Alterio. He moved to Spain with his family at the age of four due to political unrest in Argentina. Alterio began his career in the theater, co-founding the theater group "Ración de oreja." He has since established himself as a prominent actor in Spanish film and television.His notable film credits include The Other Side of the Bed (2002), The Method (2005), and Clandestine Childhood (2012), for which he received multiple award nominations. He has also starred in the television miniseries Vientos del agua alongside his father. In 2025, he appeared in the Spanish comedy Un funeral de locos, in which he played the role of Robert.
