Esmé Creed-Miles is an English actress born on February 5, 2000, in Barnet, London, England. She is the daughter of actors Charlie Creed-Miles and Samantha Morton. Esmé began her acting career as a Shirley Temple impersonator in the 2007 film "Mister Lonely," directed by Harmony Korine. After a break from acting, she returned to the screen with roles in independent films such as "Dark River" (2017), "Pond Life" (2018), and "Undercliffe" (2018). She gained widespread recognition for starring as the title character in the Amazon Prime series "Hanna" (2019–2021), where she trained intensively in martial arts to perform fight scenes. The role allowed her to explore themes of gender, sexuality, and survival, drawing critical acclaim for her emotive and physical performance. Esmé is also known as a musician and feminist and identifies as bisexual. In addition to "Hanna," she appeared in the Paramount+ period drama "The Doll Factory" (2023) and the 2024 film "The Thicket."
