Esther Chen
Esther Chen is a Taiwanese-American stand-up comedian, actress, and host. She is known for her work in various comedy clubs and for her appearances in television shows on HBO, Hulu, Amazon, FX, Buzzfeed, HBO Max, and MTV. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Planet Connections Festivities and was a cast member of the ABC Diversity Showcase. She has also co-produced "Asians Strike Back: a Coronavirus Comedy + Science Show," which received media attention from The New York Times and CBS. Chen is a trilingual speaker of Mandarin Chinese, English, and Taiwanese. She also works as a dialect coach and contributed to the translations for seasons 2 and 3 of the show Mr. Robot. She is the creator of the YouTube channel "Drunk Chinese Class" and the podcast "好戲開場" (Hǎo Xì Kāi Chǎng).
