Ethann Isidore is a French actor of Franco-Mauritian-Brazilian descent, born on January 25, 2007, in Le Chesnay, Yvelines, France. He began his acting journey at the age of six, enrolling in the 'Theater Arts on Stage' course in Chatou, Île-de-France. By age 11, he had already appeared in several short films, including L'Évasion, Debout, and ILS. In 2018, he played Nadir in Au Revoir Tom Selleck, a film that won the Grand Prix CinéBanlieue 2019 and earned him a special mention for 'best male interpretation' by the jury. Isidore's notable roles include portraying "The Child" in the Franco-Canadian interactive virtual reality experience Les Passagers, which won the Canadian Screen Prize for Best Immersive Work in 2022. He has also appeared in television series such as Sam (seasons 4 and 5), Mortel, and Raise the Dead. In 2021, Isidore was cast as Teddy Kumar in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise. He filmed for eight months alongside Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge in various locations, including London, Glasgow, Sicily, and Morocco. His performance received positive reviews, and he attended the film's premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2023. In 2024, Isidore was cast as Kevin Lorin in the comedy series La Recrue. He is also known for his role as Sacha in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, a spin-off of the popular series.
