At 16, he joined The Young Actors Theatre in Islington, marking the beginning of his acting journey. Elsayed's breakthrough came in 2012 with his role as Mo in My Brother the Devil, a performance that earned him a nomination for Best British Newcomer at the BFI London Film Festival. He further showcased his talent in the BBC Three series Class (2016), a spin-off of Doctor Who, where he portrayed Ram Singh, a student at Coal Hill Academy.
