Fioretta Mari, pseudonym of Fioretta Manetti, is an Italian actress, acting coach, artistic director, and theater director, born in Florence on July 19, 1942. Coming from a theatrical family lineage, her career spans over seven decades across theater, film, and television. Her stage work is extensive, including dramatic roles in works by Shakespeare and Lorca, and she has also worked as a director. To a wider Italian audience, she is most famous for her role as an acting and diction coach on the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, a position she held from 2002 to 2009. In cinema, her recent roles include appearances in Al posto tuo (2016) and the comedy film Ricchi a tutti i costi (2024). Beyond performing, she is a dedicated acting teacher who has taught both in Italy and in the United States, including at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. She was previously married to singer and actor Armando De Razza, with whom she has a daughter, Ida Elena DeRazza.
